Seat sensors also offer a simliar money saving potential when it comes to gas savings. A lot of modern cars have engines that are built to use less gas, so this is a little easier on your wallet and better for the environment as well. But it's one of those engines that likes to loaf, preferring even-paced driving. The seat sensor reads that you are in a correct position while also not taking sharp turns, so the car knows it is being driven efficiently. Still, slouch or speed up too quickly and the computer can sense that you're asking for fuel needlessly. As a result, you drive in ways that are kinder to your fuel economy, and hence save some money down the road.
